November 2012 to-do list

It’s ‘stick season’ in Vermont: after the glory of autumn leaves, but before the lights of Christmas go up. It can be easy to slip into despair, but just as easy to find happy moments of quiet.

My list for this month –

  1. Finish stairway (patching and painting)
  2. Paint kitchen shoe molding
  3. Hang family picture gallery on stairway wall
  4. Frog Eva (for you non-knitters: frogging is to undo it all and rewind the yarn)
  5. Print out pattern for this shoulder warmer and purchase yarn (after checking the stash)
  6. Start the Christmas crafting and gift-buying:
  • necklaces for nieces
  • rematting/framing pics for parents
  • Keurig/Tracfone minutes for MIL
